Juanita Market, Bluefish Festival Happens Friday In Kirkland

Juanita Beach Park will be center stage for two events on June 2: the Bluefish Festival and the opening of the Juanita Friday Market.

From the City of Kirkland: On Friday, June 2, Juanita Beach Park will be center stage for two community events: the Bluefish Festival and the opening of the Juanita Friday Market.

In its seventeenth year, the Bluefish Festival is a music and arts celebration put on by the Kirkland Youth Council. The event will feature performances by local bands and soloists, artwork on display, other activities and food. The festival will run from 4 to 7 p.m.

The Juanita Friday Market is a weekly open-air market that is starting its tenth year. The market provides a community gathering place and opportunity to purchase freshly harvested crops, meet farmers, discover unique arts and crafts and enjoy live entertainment. The market will run from 3 to 9 p.m. on every Friday through September 29.
