Kirkland Coffee Stand Closed By King County
The coffee stand could reopen as soon as it fixes violations found by county health inspectors.
KIRKLAND, WA - A coffee stand operating at a Kirkland gas station parking lot was closed by King County health inspectors this week for operating without a valid permit.
Take A Break Coffee, 3828 Lake Washington Boulevard Northeast, was closed Monday afternoon, according to the county.
In King County, food businesses, including mobile food operations, must go through a review process to obtain a permit. It's unclear how long Take A Break Coffee was without a permit. According to Yelp reviews, the coffee stand has been open since at least March 2014. It is located in the parking lot of a 76 gas station.
