Kirkland Google Workers Program Holiday Lights Show

The spectacle is part of the Holiday Lights on the Cross Kirkland Corridor event.

KIRKLAND, WA - The city will put on its second holiday lights festival on Friday featuring caroling, a giant snow globe, and a light show with 10,000 LED lights programmed to holiday music by computer engineers from Google's Kirkland campus.

Mayor Amy Walen will flip a ceremonial switch at 5:30 p.m. to light up the musical light show. The festivities get underway at 4:30 p.m., when locals will be able to take photos with the giant snow globe.

The event takes place along a section of the Cross Kirkland Corridor adjacent to the Google Kirkland campus at 499 7th Avenue South.
