Kirkland Police Seek Houghton Beach Shooting Suspects
Investigators released descriptions of two people that detectives believe were involved in the fatal shooting of a teen at Houghton Beach.
KIRKLAND, WA — The Kirkland Police Department on Wednesday released two suspect descriptions as detectives continue to investigate the shooting death of a teen boy at Houghton Beach Park one week ago.
In a news release, police said officers were able to contact more witnesses that helped them gather descriptions for two potential suspects seen at the dock where the shooting took place:
- Suspect 1: described as a white male, age 15-20 years old, 5’10”-6’ tall, thin build, curly hair (unknown color), wearing a gray hoodie, either gray sweatpants or light-colored jeans, and white athletic shoes.
- Suspect 2: described as an unknown race male, light skin, age 15-20 years old, 5’8”-5’10” tall, thin build, with dark curly hair, wearing a black hoodie (hood pulled over head), and black pants.
The police department said investigators have already contacted two people of interest in the case and are working to contact a third.
