Kirkland Recycling Event May 11 at LW High School

Residents will be able to drop off items not normally accepted by regular weekly curbside service at the school parking lot on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

The first of two annual recycling events by the city of Kirkland will be on May 11 at Lake Washington High School, allowing residents to get rid of items not normally accepted by regular weekly curbside services.

Residents will be able to drop off things like batteries, bulky wood, fluorescent lights, motor oil, filters and antifreeze and some electronic equipment.

The event is at the school parking lot (12033 NE 80th Street) on Rose Hill from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 11.

Most Kirkland residents should have been mailed a flyer providing more details on the event. It is attached here as a PDF file. There is also information available on the city’s solid waste and recycling web pages here.
