In another incident, police were called to a vehicle prowl that was apparently a prank between dorms.

March 22

  • Clothing and shoes were stolen from a car at the 12200 block of 131st Pl NE.

March 23

  • A NW student reported his car was broken into overnight, but the only thing taken was a “Screamin’ Eagles Week” school trophy. Someone created a Facebook page about the stolen property that night; police believe it's a prank between dorm floors.
  • A 38-year-old Kirkland woman tried to chase a hit and run driver who rear-ended her near the Kingsgate Safeway. The other driver sped away driving at reckless speeds and running red lights. The victim was able to give the police the license plate number of the other car, which is registered in Bothell, and they are attempting to arrest a suspect.
