Over 150 members and guests attended the Lake Washington Saddle Club End of Year Awards Banquet on November 3, 2018. The event celebrates members that participated in the 2018 horse show events, equestrians and equines that advocate for Bridle Trails State Park located at 5300 116th Avenue Kirkland, Washington.
The 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award went to Suzanne Kagen who served as past President and Vice-President of the Saddle Club and is still an advocate and founding member of the Bridle Trails Park Foundation.

Alice Prince, the founding member of the Bridle Trails Park Foundation, gave out the Purple Horse Awards that she also invented. This award is given to those who may have fallen and got back up in the saddle.
