LWSD Levy, Senior Council and Class of '71 Reunion Meeting
Essential events for Kirkland today, Feb. 8, 2011
- Don’t forget to mail your ballots today to vote on the Lake Washington School District Levy. If approved, $64.5 million over six years would be raised through real estate tax increase to to pay for additional classroom space. It is the only issue on the ballot and must be postmarked by today, Feb. 8.
-  Tonight’s Senior Council meeting is at 5:30 p.m. at the Peter Kirk Community Center. The council serves residents 50-plus, discussing relevant issues such as fitness and elder abuse, as well as advising the City Council in matters effecting seniors.
- Kang’s Class of ‘71: It’s almost time for your 40th high school reunion. The planning meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Kirkland Eagles Aerie 2681 on Central Way. One prepaid beer per ‘71 grad for helping out with the reunion details.
