Partial Closure Of Northeast 75th Street Begins April 12
Beginning Monday, detours will be in place during a five-day closure near Lake Washington High School.
KIRKLAND, WA — Construction work to improve safety between Holy Family Catholic Parish and Lake Washington High School will require detours in the area between Monday, April 12, and Friday, April 16.
The project is part of Kirkland's neighborhood greenways program, designed to help pedestrians and cyclists travel between destinations without having to share the road with cars on busier streets. The closure will allow contractors to build an elevated intersection that will join other corridors along Northeast 75th Street and 128th Avenue Northeast.
Detours will be in place around the closure area, in front of the high school.
