Potentially Toxic Algal Blooms Seen At Arrowhead Point
King County will place warning signs around the residential area north of Saint Edward State Park.

KENMORE, WA - King County issued a warning Tuesday about potentially toxic algal blooms at Arrowhead Point along Lake Washington. The county is reporting that there are visible algal scums on the surface of the lake, and will place warning signs near waterfront access points.
Toxic algal blooms can produce toxins that are harmful to humans and animals. In severe cases, toxic algae can cause death. The blooms are particularly dangerous for pets because they might enter water that humans would otherwise recognize as risky.
