New Business: Crush Footwear Celebrates Opening on Kirkland Ave

City Councilwoman Penny Sweet and Kirkland Chamber of Commerce leaders joined the owners of a new boutique retail shop downtown -- Crush Footwear -- in a ribbon-cutting and formal opening celebration Wednesday evening.

The new store is the dream of co-owner Rhonda Herbert and the result of her longtime crush on stylish, high-quality women's shoes. The shop opened at 339 Kirkland Avenue in mid-August. It is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Contact the store at 425-298-4024.
