Road Repairs Could Cause Delays On 3rd Street Next Week
Repairs will take place on 3rd Street between Central Way and Kirkland Avenue.

KIRKLAND, WA — The City of Kirkland is warning motorists that they could encounter some traffic and delays next week during repairs to storm and wastewater structures.
The city said the work zone will be on the east side of 3rd Street between Central Way and Kirkland Avenue. Some areas will be coned off, causing traffic to be diverted around the impacted area. A temporary wheelchair ramp will also be used to divert pedestrian traffic in the work area.
The city said bus parking near the entrance and exit to the library will be impacted as well.

The repairs will be covered with steel plates and all areas will reopen to traffic when work is done, the city said. After a week, once the concrete hardens, plates will be removed.
