Each Week Kirkland and other Patch sites around the country present photo galleries spotlighting sights and events around their respective towns. Last week our neighboring site, Woodinville Patch, took a look on a clear, crisp evening at the Sammamish River Trail. Usually packed on weekends, the trail is tranquil and quiet at sunset.

Since the trail is just over the hill from our town and we enjoyed Kendall Lauren's great photos so much, we wanted to bring it to Kirkland Patch as well.
