What's Up: Events For the Kids in Kirkland
It's nearly the end of July, but summer fun for kids continues in Kirkland Tuesday, July 30.

It's a great time to be a kid--well it always is, right? Here are three events for kids and teens in Kirkland today.
- Take this opportunity to check out the Lake Washington Toddler Group at their open house today, and let the little ones have some free play time while you're there.
- Kirkland's Kids Concerts at Juanita Beach are not to be missed. Today, enjoy singer/songwriter Eric Ode from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and hang out afterward for some fun on the beach. Later, Ode will give a mini-concert at Park Place Books, from 1:30-2 p.m.
- If you have a young person interested in aviation or the Air Force, help break the summer boredom by taking them to check out Overlake Civil Air Patrol, which meets tonight at 6:30. New members are welcome, and you can learn more about the group's activities on Mike Holliday's blog.
