13th Street To Close For Sewer Construction Project
A stretch of 13th Street will be closed for one night in Oak Creek as workers tend to a sewer construction project.

OAK CREEK, WI — A stretch of 13th Street will be closed for one night in Oak Creek as workers tend to a sewer construction project.
According to officials, starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 12, County Road V, also known as 13th Street, will be closed to all traffic between Helm Street and W. Lois Lane in order to rebuild a sanitary sewer crossing.
Originally, a full closure was not expected to be necessary, city workers said, however, due to the sanitary sewer needing to maintain sewage flow, an overnight closure is required. A nighttime closure will have the least impact on travel and avoid peak travel times, officials said.
