The market will offer a variety of locally grown foods, according to the market's website. Seasonal items such as corn, strawberries and apples will be available at their peak of freshness, according to the Market's website. Expect to also find an assortment of produce, cheese, meats, eggs, honey and flowers.

Here are a couple of vendors to check out this weekend at the market:

Devour Gluten Free is an Oak Creek based company selling gluten-free baking mixes and flours, the company's website states. Check their booth at the market for gluten-free pancake, brownie, cake and pizza dough mixes.

Elsie Mae's Pies is a Kenosha based seller of pies, canned products and more. 24/7 Wall St named Elsie Mae's Pies #34 on a list of America's best pie shops in 2019.


The Oak Creek Farmers Market is also offering a program this year to SNAP and WIC recipients, the market's website said. The FoodShare program seeks to lower market costs for individuals with limited money.

The program, sponsored by the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers Local Union 494, will give a $10 match to marketgoers enrolled in SNAP or WIC, the market website said.

Opportunities to be a vendor at the market remain open, according to the market's website. The market is looking for vendors that can offer fresh, homemade or local farm-grown products. Fill out an application online and return it the Oak Creek Farmers Market.

This year will be the market's third year. The Oak Creek Farmers Market will start on Saturday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m at Drexel Town Square located at 361 W Town Square Way in Oak Creek.
