1st Pop-Up Biergarten Of This Season Starts Thursday In Oak Creek
The beer garden will open for three days in Abendschein Park this week with traditional German food, music, beer and activities.
OAK CREEK, WI— The first Pop-up Biergarten of the summer at Abendschein Park will start Thursday and run until Saturday with traditional German food, beer, music and activities.
The Biergarten features Hofbrauhaus beer from Munchen, but will also have a range of German imports, domestic craft beer and ciders to choose from. Sausages and pretzels will be served alongside the beer, according to the event's Facebook post.
For the first weekend, the Pop-up Biergarten is offering an online raffle for a free Hofbrau Stein. Biergarten attendants can also expect to use classic beer boots at the event, the Facebook post said.

The three-day German-style event will be periodically returning to Oak Creek throughout the summer. This weekend is the first of four planned to run every third weekend until September.
The Pop-up Biergarten will open Thursday at 3 p.m. at Abendschien Park located at 1311 E Drexel Avenue in Oak Creek. It will run until Saturday and then return three more times, according to the Oak Creek Biergarten website.

The beer garden is getting off to a late start compared to others in the area- The nearby Franklin Beer Garden has been running every Thursday since May.
