89-Year-Old Oak Creek Man's Dream Comes With Tacos
With the help of Azura Memory Care, 89-year-old Oak Creek resident Ray Meyer was able to celebrate with family around his favorite meal.

OAK CREEK, WI — "What would your best day be?"
That is the guiding question to Azura Memory Care's MOSIAC Dreams Program - a program that works to fulfill the dreams and wishes of its residents.
For 89-year-old Oak Creek residents Ray Meyer, his dream came true on Thursday, June 14 at BelAir Cantina, located at 410 W Town Square Way in Oak Creek. Meyer, who is a resident at Azura Memory Care, said that all he wanted to do was spend time with his loved ones and enjoy his favorite meal on his birthday - it's a family tradition.

On that day, all of Meyer's family came donning red, white and blue — a special part of the tradition as Ray’s birthday falls on Flag Day — and enjoyed Ray’s favorite meal together: tacos.
“It was really touching to see all of the smiles at the table and see Ray and his family enjoying dinner out at a restaurant together,” Denise Jurecki, director of community relations for Azura of Oak Creek told Patch. “This is truly what our Dreams Program is all about; helping to make moments of joy like these a reality for those within our care and their families.”
