Abendschein Skate Park Final 3 Designs To Be Unveiled

OAK CREEK, WI — A professional skateboarder will be on hand as city officials unveil the final three designs for the Abendschein Park skate park's upgrade and renovation.

City officials began planning an overhaul of the Abendschein Park's skate park in Fall 2019.

More than 70 people participated in an open-house design workshop held in late summer. Final results of the design workshop were collected in fall, and now organizers are giving residents the chance to weigh in on three final concepts for the project.

Residents will have the chance to review and provide comments on the final three Abendschein Skate Park concepts.

City staff and professional skateboarder, Kanten Russel, will be there.

This presentation will take place in the Civic Center Lobby during Winterfest.
