The Oak Creek 7th grade girls basketball team took 9th place at the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship over the weekend of April 13.
The tournament, organized by the Great Northwest Basketball League, brought together 84 of the top community-based 7th grade girls basketball teams from across the state.
The team is coached by Dan Lownik, Chris Zylka and Bob Oleniczak. Abby Lownik was named to the all-tournament team.
