Arrest Made In Deer Harassment Incident
A 49-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested a few days after a video surfaced showing several men trapping a deer and putting a T-shirt on it.
A 49-year-old Oak Creek man has been arrested after a video surfaced showing several men trapping a deer and putting a T-shirt on it.
Police arrested the man Friday morning for mistreatment of an animal, according to the Oak Creek Police Department logbook.
He has not yet been charged, according to online court records.

Last week, the state Department of Natural Resources and Oak Creek police began investigating a video entitled "how to put a T-shirt on a feisty deer," which has since been removed from YouTube.
In the video, recorded on private property in Oak Creek, several men are seen putting an orange shirt on a deer and laughing.

Multiple Oak Creek residents saw the deer in the days that followed, including a Patch user who took the two photos at right.
Those involved with the video could face at least a fine, though many believe the punishment should be more than that.
