Audi Driver Eluded Oak Creek Police At 100 Miles Per Hour: Police

When an officer tried pulling the Audi over, the vehicle took off south on S. 27th Street at more than 100 miles per hour.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say the drivers of a silver Audi fled police at more than 100 miles per hour and after an officer tried pulling the vehicle's owner over.

According to police call logs, an officer on patrol just before 1 a.m. on Aug. 3 came across what he felt was a suspicious vehicle.

Police call logs stated that the officer saw the Audi driver execute a series of U-turns in the 8200 block of S. 27th Street. When the officer ran the vehicle's plates, he found that the driver had a revoked license.

According to police, when the officer tried pulling the Audi over, the vehicle took off south on S. 27th Street at more than 100 miles per hour.

The pursuing officer broke off the chase just south of Oak Shores, for a total distance of 1.4 miles, according to police call logs.
