A Brewers Opening Day Tailgate Will Be Held In Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — Members of the community are invited to cheer on the Brewers, and to a lesser extent, the Chicago Cubs, during an opening-day tailgate party that will be held at the Oak Creek Community Center this March.

The Oak Creek Lions Community Foundation is holding their annual Brewers Opening Day Tailgate Party on Thursday, March 26. The community is invited to join in at the Oak Creek Community Center, 8580 S. Howell Avenue in Oak Creek ,when the doors open at 10:30 a.m.

Organizers say spectators will be welcome to watch the Brewers play against the Cubs on large screens. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance or at the door during the Party.

The ticket includes free food, beer and soda for the entire event! Everyone purchasing a ticket will also be entered into a ‘large’ prize raffle. Additional tickets to enter prize drawings will also be available for sale at the event. During the event there will also be additional raffles, including Meat Raffles.

They are open Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or Saturday 8 a.m. to noon.
