Car Wash To Help Fund Tiny Homes For Veterans
Over the past two years, the Connects Learning Center has held a fall car wash to help the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.

CUDAHY, WI -- Students and teachers at the Connects Learning Center in Cudahy are hosting a community car wash this month to benefit the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.
According to Marty Lataille, teacher at the Connects Learning Center, the center is the alternative school for the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District. Over the past two years, the center has held a fall car wash to help the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin fund the construction of tiny homes to help stabilize veterans who need a hand up.
Veterans Outreach will bring a tiny house to the school for display while students and staff wash cars.

When: Sep. 27, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: Connects Learning Center, 6201 S. Barland Ave., Cudahy, Wis. 53110

All proceeds go to Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin. Volunteers at the site will also be accepting donations of clothing and nonperishable food items.
