Charity Bike Ride To Pass Through Oak Creek

A few dozen bicyclists are expected to pass through Oak Creek on Sunday as part of a bicycle ride for Crohn's and Colitis. 

Get Your Guts In Gear is holding its fifth annual charity bike ride from Aug. 23-25, beginning at Camp Pottawatomie Hills in La Grange Township. About 40 bicyclists will ride an estimated 135 to 200 miles over the course of two days. 

They will be in Oak Creek between noon and 3 p.m. Sunday, coming in on Nicholson Road, then heading east on Oakwood, north on Chicago Road, east on Ryan Road and then north on Fifth Avenue into South Milwaukee.
