City of Oak Creek Issues Update on S. 27th St. Construction Project
Traffic on College and Drexel will be rerouted late August into early September
OAK CREEK -- The City of Oak Creek announced updates yesterday regarding the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's reconstruction project of WIS 241 (S. 27th St.).
Construction crews will require short-term closures as they complete storm sewer work and paving operations at the intersections of College and Drexel avenues.

- Westbound traffic on College Ave. will be detoured northbound at S. 27th St.
- Eastbound traffic on College Ave. will be detoured southbound at S. 27th St.
From Aug. 22-26, eastbound traffic on Drexel Ave. will be detoured southbound at S. 27th St.
All work and closure are weather-dependent and subject to change. Travelers are encouraged to take an alternate route.
