The deadline to apply for this year's Fourth of July Parade was extended to this Friday. Late fees will also be waived.
OAK CREEK, WI—Those looking to be in Oak Creek's Fourth of July Parade can still apply, according to a Facebook post from the Celebrations Commission.
The deadline was formerly set at June 4, but it has been extended to this Friday. The $75 late fee will also be waived for applications postmarked by this Friday, the post said. To apply, fill out a form and return it to the City.
The parade was canceled last year due to the pandemic, but it is returning this year alongside a firework show at Lake Vista Park on July 4. The parade will start near Edgewood Elementary School and weave for 1.6 miles through the streets.
