Drexel Ave. I-94 Ramp To Re-Open

OAK CREEK, WI — Motorists who are looking for a little bit of good news are getting some relief this weekend: the Wisconsin Department of Transportation says that the Drexel Ave. ramps at I-94 East will reopen Saturday morning.
Here are some of the other changes that will be coming to I-94, according to the DOT:

• I-94 West between County G and Ryan Road, is scheduled to be closed to traffic between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews work to perform a traffic switch.
• I-94 East between the Mitchell Interchange and Seven Mile Road, is scheduled to be closed to traffic between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews work to perform a traffic switch.
• Seven Mile Road, under I-94, is scheduled to be closed between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Detour Route
Motorists are encouraged to use College Avenue, County G, Seven Mile Road, 27th Street, West Frontage Road and WIS 38 to get around the overnight freeway closures.
Additional overnight closures may occur along the I-94 North-South Freeway Corridor that are unrelated to this update.
