Driver Reported Nearly Hitting ATV That Was On The Road: Cops

A driver in Oak Creek said they nearly hit an ATV after its driver took it on the road near E. County Line Road.

OAK CREEK, WI — All-terrain vehicles were the subject of a police call over the July 4 weekend in Oak Creek after a car driver told police they were nearly hit by one that was driving on the road.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, police received an anonymous complaint about numerous all-terrain vehicles driving in the road near E. County Line Road and S. 10th Ave. just after 4:30 p.m. on July 4.

Police call logs stated that a person driving their car in the area was nearly struck by the driver of one ATV.

Police said they located one driver, who later admitted to driving on the road. They were advised to stay on their property.
