The Oak Creek Celebrations Commission will hold its annual Veterans Day program at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at the fire station on 6th and Rawson.Â
The program will honor families of deployed Oak Creek men and women and include Oak Creek students, public officials and musical performances.
The city is again participating in the Pocket Flag Project, in which grade-school students fold a small pocket flag to give to veterans, representing the bond between the community and those who served.
