Franklin Police Officer Dies Unexpectedly
Detective Kevin Liermann worked in the Patrol Division and Detective Bureau for the Franklin Police Department.

FRANKLIN - Franklin Police Department Detective Kevin Liermann died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 25. He was 39.
He served the Franklin Police with distinction for more than 17 years in the Patrol Division and Detective Bureau. He also was a member of the S.W.A.T. team and a department instructor.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; two daughters, Isabelle and Emma; parents Eric and Donna Liermann; one brother, Craig (Jenny) Liermann; father- and mother-in-law Bill and Pat Hartmann; one sister-in-law, Jessica (Jim) Thorpe; and five nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, from 2 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service at Max A. Sass and Sons Funeral Home - Mission Hills Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Detective Kevin Liermann fund and can be made at any BMO Harris Bank location. All donations will be used for his daughters' education expenses.
