Gourmet Cookie Franchise Planned For Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — If cookie flavors like Chocolate Cupcake and Birthday Cake featuring OREO sound appealing, then a new business coming to Drexel Town Square in Oak Creek likely will be your cup of . . . milk.

Crumbl Cookies is planning to open a franchise at 150 W. Town Square Way in a building already housing Five Guys, Mod Pizza, Potbelly's and Men's Hair House, according to Biz Times. The City of Oak Creek Plan Commission is scheduled to hold a March 9 hearing relating to Crumbl's signage. Wes Henrie, the store's owner, also owns another soon-to-open Crumbl franchise in Delafield.

Based in Logan, Utah, Crumbl Cookies began in 2017 and now has over 75 locations in 11 states, according to its website. The menu features over 120 different kinds of cookies, rotating specialty cookies, Crumbl Cream ice cream and beverages, notably milk.

The store offers take-out and delivery, though there is no in-store dining at the moment because of COVID-19. According to Biz Times, the Oak Creek and Delafield stores will be the third and fourth locations for Crumbl in Wisconsin. The other two locations are in the Madison area.
