Man Steals Two Children's Hospital Donation Jars: Police
Police in Oak Creek say a man stole two donation jars for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals from the Love's Travel Center.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say a man stole two donation jars to a local children's hospital in a theft case at the Love's Travel Center.
According to Oak Creek police, the suspect pulled his silver Toyota Corolla up to a gas pump at Love's Travel Center, 9650 S. 20th Street, around 5 p.m. Friday and walked into the store.
Police said he walked through the store for a short period of time, and picked up a cheesecake snack. He then went to the register, pretended to buy the snack, and then stole two donation jars for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, police said.

According to police call logs, the man ran out of the store with the two jars, which contained between $40 to $50 in small bills and change.

Police said they're working to track down the theft suspect, and that the man's cheesecake snack was processed as evidence.
