New Day Care Center Proposed on 20th Street
Kids N' Care is proposing to open in an empty building at 6901 S. 20th St.

A new day care center could open in a vacant building at 6901 S. 20th St.Â
Kids N' Care, which has a location in Greenfield, offers infant, pre-school, Head Start, kindergarten and before and after school programs.Â
Under a proposal submitted to the city, the day care would operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, feature an outdoor play area and employ between 10 to 15 people.
The business would occupy a building that was once home to an architectural firm but has sat empty for several years. Pyramax Bank currently owns the building, according to a report to Oak Creek Plan Commission members.
A public hearing on the proposal will be held at a future Oak Creek Common Council meeting. The Plan Commission gave it a favorable recommendation in its meeting Tuesday.Â
