New Italian Restaurant Sadie's Now Open

The new Sadie's Ristorante at the corner of Howell Avenue and Ryan Road has opened for business.

The Italian restaurant officially opened at 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to its Facebook page. It is in the building previously home to La Terraza, 9454 S. Howell Ave.

Sadie's opens every day at 11 a.m. The menu includes pastas, steaks, seafood, salads and sandwiches, along with made-from-scratch sauces, dressings and soups.

Owner Laurel Red Cloud is a second-generation restaurateur, born of Sicilian parents and has been involved in the industry since childhood. In an interview, she described Sadie's as "upscale casual."
