OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek will soon be getting a new outdoor movie theater after Marcus Theaters announced plans to set up one outside the South Shore Cinema.

According to a Milwaukee Biz Times report, Marcus said they're planning to open their Parking Lot Cinema on June 26.

"Just like we opened a Parking Lot Cinema at our Brookfield Majestic location a few weeks ago, we are now adding another drive-in concept to our South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek," Marcus officials told Patch in an email on Monday. "It is scheduled to start June 26 and will be our fourth overall Parking Lot Cinema."

It's not the first outdoor cinema to open in the area after the Milky Way Drive-In was set up in May in the parking lot of Routine Field in Franklin.
