New Year's Trash Pickup And City Office Schedule For Oak Creek

OAK CREEK, WI — The holiday week means downtime for just about everybody, including city officials and workers. It sometimes means interrupted schedules for things like trash pickup, recycling and counters at public office buildings.

Here's your updated schedule.

The City of Oak Creek’s government offices, including City Hall, Library and Recycling Yard, will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019 and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020 for the New Year's holiday.

All City offices and the Library will return to their normal business hours on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.

Tuesday, Dec. 31 is a normal trash and recycling collection day. For people who have Wednesday and Thursday trash collection, please note that the week's collection will occur one day later than normal for the holiday week.
