
Oak Creek's annual 4th of July festivities kick off with a parade at 9 a.m., followed by games, ice cream and a bike and buggy decorating contest at the American Legion.
The parade starts at Groveland Drive and Shepard Avenue and goes around the high school before making its way to the Legion grounds.

The fun continues at the Legion. Judging for the bike and buggy contest will be held at 11:30 a.m., with food and events continuing at noon.
The celebration will be capped by fireworks, scheduled for 9 p.m. at East Middle School.
