Oak Creek Driver Injured When Turkey Smashes Through Windshield

An Oak Creek man was driving a bus in Pennsylvania and safely stopped the vehicle, according to an Associated Press report.

An Oak Creek man was hurt when a wild turkey smashed through the windshield of the bus he was driving in Pennsylvania, according to an Associated Press report.

Joseph Rychecky was driving a church group back to Chicago when the second of two birds hit the windshield shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday, according to the report. He was hit by flying glass but did not require immediate medical treatment.

Police praised Rychecky for stopping the bus and said none of the roughly 40 passengers on board were hurt.
