OAK CREEK, WI — Students in the Oak Creek-Franklin School District are going back to school in person to start the fall semester, and school officials have adjusted start and end times.

According to district officials, start and end times for elementary and middle school students have been adjusted because the district's bus contractor, Riteway, said it needed extra time for bus drivers to sanitize buses. Adjustments to school bus stops were also a factor, officials noted.

Meeting documents from the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District Board's meeting on Monday showed that elementary school times have been adjusted by five minutes, with middle school times adjusted by 10 minutes.
