Oak Creek Hosting Free Child Developmental Screening

The Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District will be hosting two free developmental screening events for children.

OAK CREEK, WI — The Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District will be hosting two free developmental screening events for children between two-and-a-half and five years old who are not currently attending school, yet who live in the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District.

Both Nov. 1 and March 13 events will be held at The Salvation Army in Oak Creek.

The screening is designed to provide an overall developmental review to any child who's eligible for a screening. Parents will be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding their child' s development while their child participates in a play-based screening.

Specialists in the early childhood field will be available to address any questions or concerns raised by parents. Refreshments will be offered, and each family will be sent home with free resources.
