Oak Creek Seeks To Stamp Out Crime at National Night Out
The annual crime prevention event features emergency vehicles, activities, food items, fireworks and more.

Crime prevention and neighborhood spirit will be in focus at the Oak Creek National Night Out tonight at the Oak Creek Community Center.Â
The annual crime prevention event, held from 6 to 8:30 p.m., will include emergency vehicles on display, informational booths, kids' games, raffles, low-cost food items and fireworks on the football field at the end of the night.
Organizers are asking attendees to bring nonperishable food items for a food drive benefiting Oak Creek pantries.Â
The Friends of the Oak Creek Library will also be holding their annual sale, with books, totes, cookies and more across the parking lot from the community center.
National Night Out is designed to heighten awareness of crime prevention efforts and strengthen neighborhood spirit.Â
