Oak Creek Trash Pickup Schedule Changes Over Holidays

OAK CREEK, WI — The Christmas and holiday season will undoubtedly result in more trash and recyclables than normal, so it's worth noting when trash pickup will be over the holiday week.

City officials in Oak Creek say garbage and recycling will be picked up as normal on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 31.

However, there will be no garbage or recycling collection on Christmas Day or New Year's Day. For those with normal collection on Wednesday or Thursday, pickups will be one day later than normal for the remainder of that week.

The regular collection schedule resumes the week of Jan. 6, city officials say.
