Oak Creek's Southbound Bar Burglarized: Police

Authorities said someone broke into the Southbound bar and smashed several gambling machines.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say the Southbound Bar was burglarized earlier this month, and are continuing to investigate the case.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were sent to Southbound Bar, 9504 S. Chicago Road, just after 9:30 a.m. on Sep. 4 on a report of a burglary.

Police call logs stated the bar was broken into just after 5:30 a.m. and that gambling machines were broken into.

Police said a suspect was seen on video surveillance footage. According to call logs, police described the suspect as a white man with a medium build standing about six feet tall. Police said he was likely possibly driving a smaller sedan.

According to call logs, the suspect entered and exited through the back door. Officers searched the surrounding area and the suspect was not found, police said.
