Police: OWI Driver Stole Car, Clocked At 95 MPH

A 19-year-old Greenfield man was drunk and driving a stolen vehicle when he was clocked at 95 mph on Howell Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to an Oak Creek police report.

Police stopped the vehicle in the 8800 block of S. Howell Ave. about 3:50 p.m. and found the driver bleeding from a wound on his arm, according to the report. The man, who did not require an ambulance, was arrested for unreasonable and imprudent speed and drunken driving after registering a .18 on a breath test.

The vehicle had damage and yellow paint on it and was reported stolen from Milwaukee, police said. It was towed to the Oak Creek police station.

The man has not yet been charged, according to online court records.
