Puetz Road Construction Nears Finish Line

Puetz Road is expected to fully reopen by the end of this week as crews put the finishing touches on the road construction project between Howell Avenue and Liberty Lane.

Some minor clean-up may remain after this week, but both lanes on the road will be open, City Engineer Mike Simmons said. The road has been down to one lane for much of the summer due to the rehabilitation project. 

The work included the installation of a raised median at the railroad tracks to allow for a quiet, or "no-whistle," zone.
