Section Of I-94 To Reopen To Full Speed By Weekend
Several stretches of I-94 will widen back to four lanes and speed limits will increase to 70 miles per hour. Here's where that is happening.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Memorial Day weekend travelers will get some good news by the time the weekend hits, as a major section of I-94 is set to fully reopen and get back up to speed.
According to Wisconsin Department of Transportation officials, on Friday, I-94 west between County Highway G and College Ave., is scheduled to open to four lanes of traffic by noon.

- I-94 east between College Ave. and County Highway G, is scheduled to open to four lanes of traffic by noon.
- Elm Road, between 27th Street and I-94, is scheduled to open to traffic by noon.
- I-94 entrance and exit ramps at Elm Road are scheduled to open to traffic by noon.
The speed limit on I-94 will return to 70 miles per hour between Rawson Ave. and County Highway G, transportation officials said.
Authorities said final reconstruction work will continue through late June, and will involve overnight lane, ramp, and full freeway closures.
