South Shore Beer Garden Expansion Planned
Milwaukee County officials say they're planning to expand the South Shore Beer Garden, and announce a plan to fund the expansion.
MILWAUKEE, WI — Since its launch in 2015, Milwaukee County officials say that the South Shore Terrace has become one of the region's most popular beer gardens.
The beer garden, which partners with Miller Brewery, has added several improvements since opening, including a kitchen, indoor area and tables made from a 180 year old oak tree from the park system, that came down in a storm.
On Wednesday, Milwaukee County Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic and Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele will hold a press conference at 9 a.m. to announce details on funding for a new expansion of the South Shore Terrace Beer Garden.
