Try a Recreation Class For Free This Week
Residents can drop in at Oak Creek recreation activities this week at no charge.

It's "Try-a-Recreation-Class Week" with the Oak Creek Recreation Department this week.Â
The following classes are offered at no charge and with no registration required. Recreation staff will direct you to the class or activity location.
Tuesday, July 9:
- Fit for the 50s (age 50+): 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Oak Creek Community Center.
- Cheer (age 5-7): 6-6:45 p.m. at East Middle School.
- Cheer (age 8-11): 6:50-7:50 p.m. at East Middle School.
- Zumba (age 16+): 6-7 p.m. at Oak Creek High School.
- Art, Dance, Tumbling and Creepy Crawlies (round-robin format): 6-8 p.m. at St. John's School, 2525 W. Oakwood Road.
- Yoga (age 16+): 6-7 p.m. at East Middle School.
- Tai Chi (age 16): 7-8 p.m. at East Middle School.
- Zumba Gold (age 50+) and pole walking (age 16): 6-7:30 p.m. at East Middle School.Â
And check out the Recreation Department's Facebook page for clues on ducks hidden along park trails that can be brought into the recreation offices in City Hall for a prize.Â
