Two Events Upcoming in Mayor's Weight Loss Challenge
A Zumba class and a holiday eating workshop will be held in the next few days as part of the Mayor's Weight Loss Challenge.

Oak Creek Mayor Steve Scaffidi's Weight Loss Challenge rolls on this month with two events in the next few days.
Fresh and Clean Zumbathon will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at East Middle School, 9330 S. Shepard Ave.
The 90-minute Zumba classes will feature "Zumba Mike" Krajewski. The fee is a donation of personal care products to help the needy and homeless.

Healthy Holiday Eating Workshop will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, 10101 S. 27th St., inside the St. Joseph Heritage Room.
A registered dietitian will hold a cooking demonstration to teach participants how to make healthy substitutions for some of their favorite holiday recipes.

The Mayor's Weight Loss Challenge kicked off Nov. 10. Organizers are tracking how much weight participants can collectively lose before the challenge ends Feb. 10.
The aforementioned public events are open to everyone, regardless of whether they signed up for the challenge.
